While versions 1.0 through 1.8 featured minor component tweaks, Version 2 (V2) represents the first ground-up electrical redesign of the circuit to drastically improve headroom, tracking, and signal integrity.

• Class-A JFET Input Stage: Fulltone raised the input impedance from 330K to 1 Mega Ohm using a discrete 2N5457 JFET section. This stops the pedal from choking your guitar signal, increasing dynamic range and giving single-coils and humbuckers a punchier, clearer response.
• Redesigned Output Buffer: V2 includes an integrated output buffer. This ensures your tone stays completely consistent no matter where you place the pedal in a complex signal chain, preventing longer cable runs or downstream pedals from sucking away your high end.
• Switchable "Enhanced Bypass": An internal slide switch lets you choose between standard True Bypass and Enhanced Bypass (EB). In EB mode, the pedal configures its internal FETs into a Class-A preamp circuit when turned off.
