I assembled this years ago when I found an original Tele neck and a nice body with a cool finish. Added the current fender pickups to have a quirky configuration that works like a strat (5 selector) and used tele in the bridge and two strat single coils so close that would do the humbucking thing. It does work. it’s very silent in the 4th position and though it doesn’t exactly sound like a fat humbuker, it does sound unique and beautiful. I made it to be fixed bridge. I made the pick guard myself with resins in an ivory tone. Looks good, and you won’t find another one like it.
