Custom "37" G Lightweight Bb Trumpet

Custom built trumpet with lightweight 37 gold brass bell and imported Bach-style valves. This horn has a narrow span from leadpipe to bell, and vintage style brass Z-braces. The leadpipe is a nickel Bach 25 copy with heavy receiver and .348" venturi. The trumpet has been played regularly since it was built in 2023, but has no repairs or dings or dents. The valve action is fast and reliable, and the slides are good, but not quite as fast as a new horn. The finish is brushed raw brass, which is starting to pick up some patina and a couple water spots. The horn can easily be rebrushed to restore its shine, or left to fade to a dark raw brass.
This horn plays with a bright and directional sound. The nickel leadpipe adds some pop to the tone, and the lightweight bell is quick to light up. Intonation is good, and notes feel secure and locked in in the upper register.
