Up for sale, a 2010 Martin Johnny Cash Commemorative Edition D-35 in showroom-clean, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell and hangtags. While currently reissued, this Martin is from the original Johnny Cash Commemorative run (circa 2006-2009/10), among the last instruments produced during that production stint, hand-signed on the internal label by both C.F. Martin IV and Johnny Cash's son, John Carter Cash.

This Martin features scalloped, forward-shifted X bracing on the Engelmann spruce top, paired with East Indian rosewood back and sides and a one-piece mahogany neck capped with a bound ebony fingerboard. Unique to the D-35 among Martin's dreadnought body guitars, the instrument features lighter 1/4" bracing, as opposed to the 5/16" bracing seen on its counterpart, the D-28. This feature, combined with the D-35's unique three-piece rosewood back, delivers a sound that is notably lively and articulate. The instrument offers tons of projection, and it's a bold strummer with plenty of boom and kick in the bass register and clear, sparkling trebles.
