Up for sale, a 2025 Fender Traditional II Late ‘60s Jazzmaster in like-new condition, complete with hangtags. A newer entry in Fender Japan's Traditional line, the Late 60s Jazzmaster model has a feature set consistent with the 1966 model year, including pearloid blocks and cream binding on the rosewood fretboard, witch hat knobs, a vintage-correct "transitional" Fender logo, and Fender “F” tuning machines. Otherwise unavailable to the USA market, this instrument was sourced directly from Tokyo, boasting a gloss Black finish with matching headstock.
A reinvention of Fender Japan's Jazzmaster platform, the Traditional II Late 60s model features redesigned Vintage-Style pickups, as well as USA-spec CTS pots, Switchcraft switches, and USA Fender plastics. The instrument has plenty of sparkle and percussive cut on tap, with a range of powerful and defined tones from the two single coil pickups. Engaging the Rhythm Circuit on the guitar's lower body horn yields warmer, wooly sounds. Weighing 7lbs 4oz, this Jazzmaster benefits from a professional setup here at Mike & Mike's Guitar Bar where we specialize in Fender Offset instruments, featuring the factory 9-42 strings, low action, and accurate intonation (string gauge and setup can be dialed in to buyer's preference at no charge upon request).
