Up for sale, a 2005 Gibson ES-335 Dot in near-mint, 100% original condition and in perfect working order, complete with the original hardshell case. Produced at Gibson’s lauded and since shuttered Memphis, TN factory, this ES-335 features a heavily figured flame maple body highlighted by a gloss Antique Natural nitro lacquer finish.
The semi-hollow maple body construction delivers treble detail and a certain tonal breadth and airiness, qualities translated faithfully via the '57 Classic PAF humbuckers. These pickups offer a smooth bass register, tailored midrange, and sweet, articulate trebles, consistent with Gibson's golden era vintage "Patent Applied For" pickups. The pickups have ample clarity and power, with a slightly hotter bridge pickup and a sweet, round neck position humbucker that has great bloom and complex harmonic content. This ES-335 weighs 9lbs 2oz, professionally setup here at Mike & Mike’s Guitar Bar with 10-46 strings, low action, and accurate intonation.

The gloss Antique Natural nitro lacquer finish highlights the tight, dynamic flame figuring in the maple, extending evenly across the body. Extremely well-kept, cosmetic wear is limited to a few light finish scratches on the back and just a couple tiny dings on the body as a whole. The smooth nitro gloss on the neck profile is flawless.
The original black tolex hardshell case is included.
