Produced for the 50th anniversary of the birth of the original Stratocaster® in 1954, the 50th Anniversary American Deluxe Stratocaster® featured the pinnacle of modern guitar innovation, including three Samarium Cobalt Noiseless™ (SCN) Strat pickups, modern "C" neck shape, 2-point synchronized tremolo with a pop-in arm, staggered locking tuning machines, and a commemorative 50th anniversary hardshell case.
