I purchased this expander brand new and just never ended up using it. It's still under warranty and works perfectly. It is super solidly constructed as you can see in the photos and has a very pleasing heft to it. It also includes an additional cable (not pictured) to chain to the MIDI expander if you have one of those. This expander allows you to: control the NerdSeq with a computer keyboard and output the screen via HDMI or coaxial cable. The NerdSEQ has added video synthesis capabilites, amazingly, so this expander is needed if you'd like to take advantage of those features. Local pickup in LA is welcome.
