"If we wouldn't play it, we wouldn't sell it."
Up for sale is a stunning, 100% original 1991 PRS Custom 24 in a vibrant Cherry Sunburst finish. This instrument comes out of the highly coveted Virginia Avenue "pre-factory" era, offering the legendary build quality, carve, and feel that put Paul Reed Smith on the map. While it lacks the handwritten factory hangtag, the guitar is entirely structurally and electronically stock. It features a beautifully figured flame maple top that easily rivals official "10-Tops" of the era, paired with a fast mahogany neck and a dark, premium rosewood fretboard.
Specs & Electronics:
Pickups: Original factory HFS (bridge) and Vintage Bass (neck) humbuckers
Controls: Original 5-way rotary switch and functional mini-toggle "Sweet Switch "
Hardware: Original PRS tremolo and original locking tuners
Condition: Excellent to Mint. Incredibly clean finish with no major dings, rash, or modern modifications. All solder joints are untouched.
Case: Includes the original multi-latch PRS hard shell case. The case is structurally perfect and completely clean, dry, and 100% odor-free (no smoke, must, or basement smells), which is a rare find for a 35-year-old case.
This is a premier investment-grade instrument for players and collectors alike. Ships fully insured.
