Parting with my now vintage 1973 Martin D18. I purchased it new in 1974 from Chester Groth Music with high school graduation money and have owned this instrument for 52 years. It sat in the case for most of its life. Had a neck reset done by master builder and authorized Martin shop Hoffman’s Guitars in Minneapolis about 3 years ago. It looks practically brand new and plays beautifully.

Sitka spruce top has aged to a beautiful deep honey amber. Mahogany back, sides and neck with dot inlays show beautiful tight-grain with almost zero visible wear. No dings or dents. Indian rosewood fingerboard and frets show light even wear. Rosewood bridge is a rich dark grain and sits flat with no lifting. Bone nut and saddle. Grover tuners. All original.

Has a quality Fishman sound hole pickup installed. Comes with original case, also in near new condition. I seriously doubt you would a nicer one of this vintage anywhere. Compare to the beat up garbage Ike’s Guitars in LA and a couple other dealers are peddling here in the same price range. If you want one, this is the one you want.
