Analogman modded JHF2 Fuzz Face - SB175 - Rare Color!

This is a rare blue Dunlop JHF2 Dallas-Arbiter England Fuzz Face that has been professionally modified by Analogman. The dark blue JHF2 was a limited model released exclusively for the Japanese market in the early 1990s and should not be confused with the later light blue Hendrix silicon Fuzz Face.

This particular pedal is equipped with Analogman's premium SB175 germanium transistors. Having owned a number of original vintage Fuzz Faces as well as boutique builds featuring genuine NKT275s, I believe the SB175s capture the character of the classic NKT275 exceptionally well. They offer outstanding cleanup, rich harmonic content, and a smooth, musical response. SB175 transistors have become increasingly difficult to source, making them one of Analogman's more desirable transistor options.

Analogman also installed a Sundial (bias) control, allowing the pedal to be fine-tuned for changing temperatures and battery conditions. This helps maintain consistent performance and lets you dial in the sweet spot that germanium Fuzz Faces are known for.

Additionally, the pedal features an on/off fuzz pot, eliminating the need to unplug the input cable to prevent battery drain when the pedal is not in use.

For convenience, I attached a battery clip with Velcro to securely hold the battery in place during use.
