While it features 1960 specs, it is not a Custom Shop historic reissue but rather a "Classic" series guitar produced by Gibson USA. 

Key Specifications

• Body and Top: Features a solid mahogany back with a carved maple top. During 2003, these models utilized traditional 9-hole weight relief rather than the chambering found in later years.
• Neck Profile: A slim '60s Slim Taper mahogany neck, often described as a slim "D" shape, designed for faster playability.
• Pickups: Originally equipped with powerful uncovered ceramic humbuckers: the 496R in the neck and the 500T in the bridge. These are higher-output than vintage PAF-style pickups, making them popular for rock and metal.
