Rare Vintage Favilla Teardrop Soprano Ukulele with Vintage Case

I am selling a hard-to-find 1920’s – 1930’s Favilla Teardrop soprano ukulele in fair condition made out of solid birch with its vintage case.

The Good: The instrument sounds fine with its new Oasis fluorocarbon strings and comfortable action. The tuning pegs and bridge and nut are original. The neck is firmly attached to the body. The fretboard markers are present. It comes with its vintage case.

The Bad: The instrument is as much as a century old and looks it. There is a total of five stable cracks that I see, three on the front and two on the back. The crack above the sound hole is cleated. It is also missing one fret where the neck meets the body (which I personally wouldn’t miss). There is slight finger-wear first couple of frets.

The Ugly: The dings, scrapes, and booboos one expects to find on an instrument pushing a hundred years old that has been played and played and played.

I encourage you to research this instrument online, study the photos carefully, and ask all questions before purchasing.

Note: We ship only to the contiguous 48 states.
