The Sony SB-5335 Audio Selector is a vintage audio unit that allows input from a stereo 3 phono, 3 tuners, 3 aux/amplifier + 1 extra in and 2 out, sources to be connected to three separate amps, and then power to five speakers. Plus 1x line-in and headphone out on the front panel. Also, the main volume regulator, mute switch, and monitor from the source to the tape recorders.
Pretty flexible.
Actually, all inputs use the same RCA so any audio device type can be connected.
It can route low-level audio signals from sources to 3 amps AND power output from 3 amplifiers to 5 different speakers. (!!!)
With the unique feature of switching between three amplifiers and five speakers, this audio selector provides flexibility to use with tube amps, solid-state, and so on, and to compare them. A quite unique device.
It also has a master volume from sources, muting, and supports 3 tape recorders for cross-recording and copying.
No power is required, as it uses only mechanical switches, so it does not interfere with sound quality. Made in Japan, this unit was designed and made by Sony. It has a fully metal, steel case and an aluminium front panel.
I used it with my Nakamichi decks and Technics RS1500 & Akai GX747 reel recorders, also as Yamaha TT with a tube amplifier. I have a large collection of decks and use a lot of selectors. Now just don't need them.

- 1x separate ext in (line in and out)
- 1x input on facepanel (line in)
- 3x tape recorders ( In and Out, for play and record + cross record from deck to deck)
- 3x line from power amp to speakers (speaker output on amp)

Please note: As this is a used device, some minor scratches may be present. Also, some connectors and related switches were not used, so some cleaning and DeoxIT may be needed for connectors and switches. It was used only with a few devices and not all inputs and outputs utilized.
