This comes from the Epiphone Custom shop, which used to be the branch of Epiphone that put out the best gear back in the day.
Based off of the Gibson custom shop Tak Matsumoto, this instrument has higher end specs than most Epiphones and easily one of the best Les Pauls I've ever played.
Came stock with Gibson USA pickups (the burstbucker #2 and #3) with the zebra bobbins (the best looking configuration IMO)
Gorgeous aqua green flame maple veneer. (Used to be Aqua blue, but the color has changed over the years. You can even see the original blue under the pickup rings and bridge/tailpiece.
Beautiful abalone trapezoid inlays.
All original EXCEPT for the custom truss rod cover, which says Takahiro Matsumoto in Japanese. The original truss rod was a light blue affair, which I thought looked a bit off, which is why I replaced it. I am including it however in case you want to change it back.
Comes with the original Tak Matsumoto heavy duty padded gig bag.
