A pair of Dutch & Dutch 8C “black oak” speakers / monitors ( NOT the MDF “studio version” )

They probably still have factory guarantee, I will check, Dutch & Dutch have an incredibly good customer-care / helpdesk btw.

I am selling them because I don’t do any serious studio work ( my profession for nearly 40 years ) anymore and now these beauty’s are kind of “overkill” value-wise, otherwise I would never ever sell them, I tried a lot of different monitors during my “pro-studio-life” and I have never heard anything like this!! The way they translate recorded music is utterly impressive!!
The first time my girlfriend and I listened to our old favorite songs on these there actually were tears in our eyes because we instantly felt that for the first time we heard them as they were intended! ( no sales pitch! )

In 99% shop condition, only one very minimal “blemish“ on top of one of the speakers ( see pic) the rest of the things you see in the pics are dust etc. maybe some small things on the bottom of the speakers, i will check and add pics soon, but ABSOLUTELY NOTHING DRAMATIC, absolutely in “near shop condition”

The speakers were in the same studio for circa 1 3/4 year and were used very minimal due to other priorities in my life, they were also NEVER ABUSED in any way.

This, in my opinion, are the BEST SPEAKERS/MONITORS IN THE WORLD!! the sound, range, accuracy and quality are unbelievable!!

Regarding the new D&D 6C versus this one; the 6C are absolutely fantastic! Especially for somewhat smaller studio spaces, and in smaller living rooms they are simply perfect! But in larger rooms there is a difference; furthermore, the 8Cs (regardless of the room size) handle sound in a slightly different way due to the larger “components” and housing (difficult to explain and remains my personal opinion, which is shared by various other users, but opinions of course are subjective).

Additionally, it is a fact that a lot more funding and time has always been put into “first products”; you can ignore that of course, but it remains an undeniable fact.
