Up for sale is a fantastic piece of 1960s tube history: a Gibson Maestro Reverb Echo GA-1RT combo amplifier. If you are looking for that authentic, swampy vintage vibe with lush onboard reverb and tremolo, this little amp delivers in spades. It sounds absolutely great and is ready to bring some classic mojo to your studio or collection.

Electronics/Sound: Fully functional and sounds excellent. The tone is warm, responsive, and breaks up beautifully just like a vintage low-wattage tube amp should. Both the reverb and echo/tremolo circuits are working great.

Cosmetics: The original tweed covering shows some honest wear and character—it definitely "has some life" and looks the part of a well-loved 60-year-old amplifier.

Modifications/Repairs: The lower back panel has been replaced. The replacement was done well, but please note it is not the original tweed fabric. The rest of the cabinet and components are well-preserved.

You can use the GA-1RT in two distinct ways: As a Standalone Low-Watt Crunch Amp: You can plug a guitar straight into the front instrument panel. The volume and tremolo controls function normally, producing a gorgeous, raw, single-ended tube distortion when cranked up. However, when used strictly standalone this way, the onboard reverb tank does not receive a signal to activate. As a Dedicated Wet-Dry Slave: Players who want the authentic "Reverb Echo" effect will run a line out from an effects loop into the Maestro to let it strictly handle the ambient background trails alongside their primary dry amp.
