Condition
Excellent overall vintage condition.
The finish shows only light surface scratches, some light buckle wear on the back, and minor cosmetic signs of careful ownership. The neck remains exceptionally clean with very little playwear, and the frets show minimal wear. All electronics function exactly as intended, and the guitar plays effortlessly up and down the neck.
A wonderful example that has clearly been well cared for throughout its life.
About the 1988 American Standard Stratocaster
The late-1980s American Standard Stratocasters occupy a unique place in Fender history. Following the formation of Fender Musical Instruments Corporation, production moved to the new Corona facility, where Fender focused heavily on improving quality control and modernizing manufacturing processes.
