Up for sale is a Gibson Les Paul Special SL, made in the USA. These early Special SL models have become increasingly sought after for their lightweight all-mahogany construction, comfortable feel, and straightforward Les Paul tone.

This example is in very good condition and presents exceptionally well. The translucent finish allows the mahogany grain to show beautifully throughout the body and neck. The guitar has been fully inspected and shows no evidence of headstock repairs, neck repairs, or structural issues.

The neck is straight, the truss rod functions properly, and the frets show only light to moderate wear with plenty of life remaining. Electronics function as intended, and the guitar plays cleanly up and down the neck.

Cosmetically, the guitar shows normal signs of use consistent with its age, including a few small dings, light finish impressions on the back of the neck, minor edge wear, and light oxidation on some hardware. These imperfections are purely cosmetic and do not affect playability.

Includes a fitted aftermarket Epiphone hard shell case.
