Vintage West German made American Student model cornet. A stencil brand of the Chicago Musical Instrument Compay probably made by quality German manufacturers Bohland & Fuchs or Hüttl. These were sturdy horns intended for the entry level market, but much more robustly made than student horns today. This horn plays beautifully with nice tone. No marks or flaws save two dents on the bell tube: one is miniscule and the other moderate (see photots for details). . The finish is gorgeous lacquered brass which has attained some patina, but looks nearly intact. The horn looks near new. Serial number is 54733. A very nice, solid, clean Conn case and unbranded 7C mouthpiece is included.
