2022 PRS McCarty Doublecut – Tobacco Sunburst – Core USA – Excellent Condition – OHSC + Case Candy

Up for sale is my 2022 PRS McCarty Doublecut in Tobacco Sunburst, a USA Core model that represents one of PRS’s most respected and time-tested designs.

This guitar is in excellent condition and has been very well cared for in a smoke-free home. It includes the original PRS hardshell case along with all original case candy and documentation.

This McCarty blends vintage-inspired warmth with modern PRS playability. The doublecut design makes it exceptionally comfortable, while still retaining the classic McCarty voice and feel. It’s incredibly resonant acoustically and delivers a wide tonal range suitable for blues, rock, fusion, and beyond.

Condition is excellent overall with only light signs of careful use. Frets show minimal wear, electronics function perfectly, and the guitar plays effortlessly up and down the neck with low action and no issues. Only visible blemish is on the top corner of the headstock (pictured), as well as some extremely light tarnish on the pickup covers.

This is one of those PRS models that sits in a really sweet spot — more vintage-leaning than a Custom 24, but still very modern and versatile. It has a very “alive” feel under the fingers and responds beautifully to pick dynamics.
