Welcome to Vintage Emporium! You're looking at a Electra X640N Active Electric Bass Guitar made in Japan in the early 80s. This bass features an ash body, maple neck, brass hardtail bridge with two double coil pickups with 3-way selector, active EQ circuit. This particular bass was built in 1983 or later due to the fact it has no pickguard and pickups mounted straight to the body. It has a comfortable slim C neck shape that feels great in the hand. This bass was professionally setup with La Bella Roundwound 41-106 gauge strings. All electronics were tested and are working properly. The neck is straight(truss rod was tested and is working). The action is great. Frets show hardly any wear. This bass weighs 8 lbs. 9 oz.

This bass is in excellent condition. Shows very little wear on body and neck. Pickup selector switch is missing its tip. All electronics were tested and are working. The case of this bass has seen better days. Sections of the case were pulling apart. See photos for further reference.

Overall, this is a killer bass. With its natural finish, this beautiful piece of ash really shines. The electronics give you plenty of tonal options and shaping abilities. Grab it now and add it to your bass rig!
