The RODE NT1-A is a large diaphragm cardioid condenser microphone designed for studio recording. It uses an externally polarized 1 inch capsule with gold-plated membrane and JFET impedance converter circuitry to deliver low self-noise performance. The cardioid pattern focuses on the sound source while rejecting off-axis noise, and it handles up to 137 dB SPL without distortion.
This mic requires 48V phantom power and connects via a standard 3-pin XLR output. It includes an internal shockmount system to reduce handling noise and comes with a shock mount, pop filter, and dust cover in the original kit.
