The MXR M78 Custom Badass '78 Distortion is a hot-rodded take on a classic distortion circuit. It delivers thick, saturated tones with a wide-open feel that works in front of clean or driven amps. A Crunch switch toggles between two clipping modes for added harmonic bite and dynamic range.
Three simple controls handle the core sound: Distortion sets the amount of gain, Tone tilts the EQ for brighter or darker response, and Output adjusts overall volume. The true hardwire bypass keeps your signal clean when the effect is off.
