“Raven” was played heavily for 50 years by the original owner. He passed away and he loved this guitar more than anything else in the world. The family told me that he loved to play while watching the sun go down over the golf Mexico in Florida. This guitar has serious soul, and you can hear it when you play her. There’s definitely play wear, but nothing that hurts the integrity or the playability of the guitar. The mahogany is so beautiful. She’s been loved and played all these years. It’s got some sheet music that somehow the notes got almost like tattooed on part of the arched back of the guitar from a music book that was in the case with it. It’s hard to see but It looks really cool. Actually it’s part of the mojo of which this guitar has a ton of it. Just a great piece. Also comes with the original vintage case from 1977. It’s not in great condition, but it is the original case so I kept it with the guitar. She’s been all set up with new strings. A small common e string crack along the Pic guard that was about 2 inches long that was glued and two small cleats added and is stronger than it was before. (see picture of inside of the guitar and cleats) No other cracks no other repairs that I can see. Everything’s original. The top is flat as a pancake. Bridge is perfect. She sings loud with a dry Woody tone that’s been developing since 1977. Another fantastic vintage guitar that I don’t want to sell. I love this one like so many others. I carefully go over each instrument. This one truly stands out among the rest.
