Up for sale is a 1993 Ibanez MSR500/BK, made in Korea by Samick.
This is one of the earlier Soundgear models from the 90s — lightweight, super comfortable neck profile, fast response and that unmistakable direct Ibanez attack.
Tonally, the MSR500 sits somewhere between modern clarity and classic punch. The PJ-style pickup layout offers plenty of flexibility for rock, funk, alternative, pop, metal or studio work.
This bass is in very good condition with regular age-appropriate cosmetic wear. Fully functional, plays great and presents very well for a 1993 Korean instrument.
