Up for sale is a beautiful piece of mid-century American musical history: a vintage Vito Alto Saxophone manufactured in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Based on the official 4-digit serial number 2656A, this specific instrument dates back to the late 1950s (circa 1957–1959), capturing the highly desirable early era of the G. Leblanc / Vito partnership. During this period, premium parts were imported from renowned workshops in France and meticulously assembled/stamped at the Kenosha plant.
