The NSG: Noise Gate addresses these issues. It uses an adjustable threshold level to filter out sounds below a certain level, allowing you to capture only the desired audio.

Use this push button to control the noise gate threshold. Press the button to switch between "Soft" mode (blue LED) for gentler gain reduction and "Hard" mode (red LED) for more aggressive gate operation.
