Body:
Ash body, hand-carved top, open pore metallized black top and back finish.
Neck:
7-string neck with symmetrical low profile. 4-layer laminate composed of mahogany and maple. The neck contains 1 double action truss rod with access for adjustment in the neck pick-up compartment. Junction area with the body made with ultra-profile system where the handle continues with its profile up to the body.
Like all our boutique guitars, it incorporates the multipick-up system which allows you to change pickups from the back of the instrument.
Nut by GB Liuteria in aluminum.
Fretboard:
Spalted maple fingerboard reinforced with resins and polished, 16 inch radius, aluminum marker, 18% nickel 2.7mm frets, 24 frets.
Headstock:
Laminated headstock with matching ash top, engraved GB Liuteria logo, black auto-locking sperzel mechanics with inclined installation to improve access.
Electronics:
High quality cts potentiometers circuit made with ofc and silver copper cables with teflon sheath, where required, always copper ofc and silver shielded cable, circuit made with star ground without shielded compartment (to avoid ducted sound and the appearance of ground rings ) Duessenberg 3-position selector. Paper and oil condensers. Knobs made in GB Lutherie body color Bridge: Fixed 7-string hipshot bridge.
Pick-up:
Pick-ups made by GB Liuteria magnets in alnico 5 and heavy awg 42 cable about 6,8 kohm, warm tone and persuasive rock pushed, with hand-stitched shark skin cover.
