This 1968 D21 is an absolute stunner with an incredible tone. It's exactly what you'd want from the BR back and sides and delivers an even response across all the strings.
Chords are full and lush where as digging in harder for single lines gives clear and precise notes.
Condition wise it's in excellent condition for it's age. There are a few knocks, most notably on the top above the soundhole. There is also a hairline crack in the back which has been cleated many years ago. Therefore it's completely stable and is very unlikely to get worse
The BR is wonderfully quarter-sawn with a deep brown tone and the classic dark lines running through it. It is still without a doubt the king of tonewoods
The sitka spruce top has aged to a wonderful honey colour
It comes in a non-original hard case which has a few knocks but is perfectly serviceable
Due to it's rarity I would encourage personal collection however we can discuss insured shipping if required
