Legendary BK Butler Tube Driver!
Classic Eric Johnson and David Gilmour tones with this one. Original 80s version.
Some things to note:
- Footswitch was acting finicky so I cleaned it with some deoxit and the issue went away, full disclosure
- Volume knob starts at around 10 O'clock and ends around 7 O'clock instead of the usual start/stop positions (you could just take knob off and put back on in correct orientation)
- Tube is a low gain one. It is a 12ax7, but need to crank the gain to about noon to get the drive cooking. You could easily swap in a preferred tube
- Plug is bent a little bit, see last pic
Sounds great and has become a classic for a reason!
