All Original guitar. Excellent player. Dates to 1966. I bought it from an estate collection from the original owner collector and it had a tag that indicated 1966 Sunburst. Incredible player. A veteran guitar player who plays exclusively soft rock and only 12 string said this is the best 12 string guitar he has ever played. Very rare to find these completely original. I would say this guitar is in collectors grade condition because of the originality. It has aged beautifully and only light play wear. The neck on this guitar is super straight and a precision player. Cannot emphasize enough how great the craftsmanship on the neck feels on this Gibson ES 335 12 string. Not mint condition but very good vintage condition. Has play wear and some nicks and dings and authentic finish checking from age. Most notable nick is a very small one on the top of the headstock (pictured). Overall very good to excellent condition. Fantastic player. Serial number dates to 1966 and has dot over the i and original witch hat knobs and no volute. The case could have been a late 60s case but it is a gibson 12 string case from this same era. The case has done its job well but the tolex has come off in many areas. Not sure if the case is original to this guitar but it came with it so Im keeping it together. Still a functional case and these Gibson 12 string cases are very rare and worth over a grand by themselves. The vintage mid sixties Gibson patent number pickups and tuners have a knobs have a lot of value by themselves also. I wouldnt want to see this gem parted out. Its a very beautiful playing instrument. The inlay on the fretboard and headstock are exceptional. The finish is exceptional also with the deep ox blood colored red to a beautiful sunburst. No breaks or repairs. I went over it with a black light and a luthier and it is a very clean vintage instrument. This guitar resonates well and the neck plays fantastic and is dialed in straight with great intonation all the way down the neck. Check out my feedback and buy with confidence.
