This is a 2023 Sterling By Music Man Albert Lee AL40P. It's the P90 version of Albert Lees signature model. The guitar has a very beautiful roasted maple neck which is also very solid feeling. Everything is stock except I did replaced the stock neck pickup with a much better sounding Lollar as I detail below. It's a light and easy playing guitar which is what I like about the Albert Lee model.
As mentioned I replaced the neck original neck pickup with a Lollar P90. The original pickup was all bass no top end and quite muddy. The Lollar is an excellent pickup and is used in many high end guitars. It sounds very clear and has a much more balanced sound than the original. The original bridge pickup sounded good so I kept that one. I will include the original neck pickup in the box.
Guitar does not come with a case.
Condition: The guitar is in like new condition except for a tiny, hard to actually see, finish crack on the lower neck pocket. I mention it because I don't want a buyer to have any surprises. I included a couple pictures of the area, one where the light is shining just right on it and you can see it, the other where it's pretty invisible. Otherwise I can't find any dings or scratches. The guitar is well set up, plays, and sounds great.
