This Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Standard was made in the USA in 1982. At that time there was starting to be a great demand for original 1958-1960 les pauls and so Gibson started making reissues. There was great demand for original Les Pauls in Japan, and some of the first Custom Shop Pre-Historic models shipped there, including this one. This guitar is all original except for the strap buttons, and it is refretted. The guitar is loaded with the original shaw-buckers which sound fantastic. It has been pro-setup in out store and sounds great. It comes with the original case.
