This Gibson Les Paul Deluxe was made in the USA in 1970. The top of the guitar has been refinished, the back, sides, and neck retain the original finish. It has a pancake body, volute, and no "made in usa" stamp which is standard for this year. The guitar shows considerable play wear, but there is no structural damage. The guitar has original patent sticker pickups which sound great, but it looks like before being refinished it had full sized humbuckers installed. Aside from the pickups, most of the other parts are changed including the tuners, pots, plastics, bridge, and tailpiece. All in all, this is a great player grade Les Paul Deluxe. It has been pro-setup in our store and plays great, and comes with the Gibson case in the pictures which is not original.
