Here’s something you don’t see everyday. Custom wired Strat that can be create 98 different settings. The pickups are Seymour Duncan custom shop Venus XII, they are wired so you can independently select the bass and the treble strings. Then there’s a series / parallel switch and switches on the vol and tone to mix in the neck pickups.
All in all very cool system for dialing in that sound that's in your head. I bought it with the intention of rewriting to replicate the Teisco Spectrum 5, where bass and treble can go to different outputs, meaning you can connect them to different effects or amps to unlock some very cool sounds, but I never got around to it.
The guitar itself built from a crafted in Japan Fender neck and a Tokai Strat body, it plays well, as you’d expect from a MIJ Strat. It’s a worthy vessel for this one-of-a-kind switching systems. It’s been relic’d which looks ok. However let’s be honest, this guitar is really all about the pickups!
