An exceptional, early, large bodied, X-braced guitar of OOO or OM size, likely made by Regal in the early 1930s based on the outline of the missing logo and other characteristics. These don't come around often.
All solid woods, spruce and mahogany, USA made, pre-war guitar. Expertly restored by a well known East Coast luthier, and X-braced. Very smooth and easy playing with a great neck angle, low action, and a nice tall saddle to help ensure it can be maintained in this playing condition for a long long time. A sound cannon, but also great for finger style with a particularly wide, classical-ish fretboard.
The restoration was exceptional, though a couple of the closed cracks have small lips as noted. The prior luthier did not choose to cleat the cracks and they are indeed quite solid, but I am happy to cleat each one with aged, cross-grain mahogany, before shipping upon request at no charge, just ask.
