G&L ASAT Classic Blues Boy 1997-1998 - blonde see through

G&L ASAT Classic Blues Boy.

Based on the serial number this is either a late 97 or early 98 model. Frets are excellent with little wear. There are some minor surface scratches, but the camera will not pick them up. The only minor blemish is on the end of the headstock which is pictured and there is some oxidation on the bridge plate. Action at the 12th fret is between 2-2.5mm so the overall action is very low. I believe the body is swamp ash. The humbucking is a seymour Duncan NL59, and based on the writing in the route,I believe the guitar was shipped from G&L with it.They are essentially replicas of Gibson PAFs with alnico 5 magnets. "Late-‘50s, vintage-correct, humbucker sound. Warm and crystalline clean tones. Full and bright distorted tones.  I have owned this for 20+ years and have not used it much lately so I have decided to sell it. The case is original and in good condition, but has a couple minor scuffs and the typical warping of the plastic.. all the latches work. I also have the original hang tags, manual and certificate signed by Leo Fender's wife. ( this is in the pictures) . I just put a fresh set of 10's on it and gave the body a quick polish.
