While the current Standard D-45 and D-41 feature hexagon inlays, the true charm of the D-42 lies in its snowflake and cat's eye fingerboard inlays. It includes a GE-style vertical headstock logo, while the neck nut angle, volute, and heel shapes are redesigned with a vintage awareness.
