Personal Thoughts:
The McCarty 594 is one of PRS’s best guitars in my opinion, because it really nails that more vintage-leaning singlecut feel while still keeping the consistency and refinement PRS do so well. The slightly shorter 24.594" scale, Pattern Vintage neck and 58/15 LT pickup set is a big part of why these work, as they give the guitar a warmer, fuller and more traditional voice than a standard Custom 24-style PRS. McCarty Sunburst is also exactly the right finish for the model, keeping it classy and understated. A very strong USA PRS and one that makes a lot of sense for someone wanting that late-'50s-inspired feel with modern reliability.
Condition Report:
Excellent condition. Presents very cleanly overall with only light signs of use.
