Marshall Shred Master OG Made In England - Not The Reissue.

Little worn from age and a little bit of gunk on the back from velcro but nothing that effects it's tone. The treble knob feels a little looser than the other pots but I honestly think it's just from the plastic on the knob being a little worn, I gave all the pots a clean just to be sure and It doesn't effect it's tone or usability.

I also think the footswitch was replaced at some point to a sturdier one.

Here's a quick description from Google:

The Marshall ShredMaster is a legendary, high-gain distortion pedal originally introduced by Marshall in the early 1990s as a "Marshall stack in a box". Famous for being the secret weapon behind iconic alternative and grunge tones of the 90s, Marshall has since officially reissued the pedal, hand-building it in their UK factory. Key Features:

  • Controls: Gain, Volume, Bass, Treble, and Contour. [1, 2]
  • Contour Knob: This is the heart of the pedal. It shifts the mid-range frequencies, letting you go from a warm, classic rock overdrive to a deeply scooped "metal" tone.
  • Build: Housed in an authentic mild steel chassis featuring the vintage gold-on-black color scheme, bespoke design, and embossed Marshall logo.
  • Power: Runs on either a standard 9V battery or a 9V DC power adapter. [1, 2]

Iconic Artists:
While the name implies a pedal exclusively for metal guitarists, it gained massive cult status in the alternative rock world. It is famously associated with:

  • Radiohead: Jonny Greenwood (who used it for the jagged, blistering tone in "Paranoid Android") and Thom Yorke.
  • Blur: Alex James.
  • My Bloody Valentine: Kevin Shields
