For sale is my 1999 cherry red american jazz bass. $1,200.
Seriously upgraded with a John East pre-amp, Delano pick ups, and Hip shot tuners.
Original finish, bridge, and frets.
And it plays like a dream. Nice deep fat tone, and great for slapping and popping.
It comes with it's original hard case, in excellent condition.
The bass has always been serviced by Tina at the Amp/Bass shop in North Hollywood.
It has some little minor nicks and dings (check the photos). but nothing that effects its ability to be played.
It tunes up and stays in tune. I have the action low, but you can set it however you like it. (Even lower without buzzing.)
I may have an extra pick guard for it.
The extra neck-plate is strictly cosmetic. Put on with with very shallow 1/8" screws just to commemorate the upgrades that were done.
