Gibson Les Paul Guitar Case TKL Tear Drop 1980's Norlin Era

For your consideration, a rare vintage Norlin era Gibson "Tear Drop" style Les Paul guitar case. Going by the exterior logo font, plush blue interior, manufacturer tag, etc, it was apparently produced during the early 1980's by TKL Canada for Gibson. I've seen larger versions of this case made for a bass, but this is the only one I've ever seen made for a guitar.

Case construction is quite solid and features a black tolex exterior covering with gold Norlin era Gibson logo, very well padded plush blue interior, accessory compartment, 4 heavy duty latches, heavy duty plastic handle and gold hardware.

In the photo gallery, I included a photo of a late 1970's Gibson Les Paul Standard (not included) to demonstrate how it fits inside the case. I also included inner case dimensions in two of the photos. I've tried several different Gibson and Epiphone LP models in this case and only those with a 14 degree headstock tilt appear to be what it was designed for. Les Pauls with a 17 degree headstock tilt bottom out and do not fit the case correctly, so please keep that in mind. The case has never housed a guitar long term, so the lid still closes snug, as if new (see video).

Condition is exceptional considering age. Everything functions exactly as it should, no bad smells or abnormal odors. There are however a few tiny dings and very light scuffs on the lids tolex from rubbing against other guitar cases over the years.
