Fabulous sounding microphone. Amazing vocal microphone and my favourite acoustic guitar recording. It is an early model, our best guess is the 1990’s, serial number 628. There is some blemishing on the exterior due to it’s “vintage” age.
We recently had the microphone serviced at Shook Sound here in Vancouver in order to sell it with confidence. The work report is as follows : Repair broken machine screw preventing opening mic case. Open case, remove capsule and PCBs, check SMD/THT electrolytic caps and other failure points throughout, all within spec. Clean and treat oxidized HP/pattern switches. Open power supply and check function (OK). Reassemble and test low frequency response - measuring flat to 50Hz (within spec). Can provide paper work if requested!
