This Schumacher 562105 is dated 43rd week of 96. Whether you're replacing a dead one in your Rectifier amp, or starting a build from scratch this OT should be a truly excellent choice. Pulled from a mint mesa Tremoverb that was rarely used in home studio collection and replaced with a Mercury magnetic instead .
Simply put, they made them better back then. The Schumacher (EIA606) made transformers are half of what made Boogie and Fender famous - nothing but Elite American iron. If it has a 166 code it's a later one, and is part of why the newer amps sound so fizzy.... If you see one, Skip it!
This transformer has been fully tested, and has a 15.3:1 turns ratio at 8ohms.. which is perfect for a beefy 100w transformer. I feel like these should go for a lot more, but i decided to go super reasonable with pricing. Don't waste your time on a Mercury for the same money.
