This replaces the vibrato unit on offset style guitars (Fender Jazzmaster and Jaguar), and adds tuning functionality to the strings behind the bridge.

One piece machined adjustment blocks are 303 stainless. Top and bottom plates are 5052 aluminum with a gold anodized finish. Important note on finish: the color will most likely not toatally match an existing pickguard. This is more on the yellowish side, depending on the model pickguard it may be quite a bit darker. It does however work pretty well with gold/brass hardware.

Strings are fixed to the back and ride under the adjustable blocks on their way to the bridge. Adjustments blocks can be loosened by hand with the thumb screws and moved around to control pitch. Keep in mind the tuning process can be confusing at first, as adjustments will also affect the main string pitch. But once the blocks are locked in place the desired pitches should remain stable.

Should work on most bridge styles, narrow 52mm string spacing or wider 56mm ones. Will also work with vintage and modern trem placement (some newer models mount the vibrato system closer to the bridge). Most standard strings should be long enough (need about 39” on the high e).

Will include mounting screws and a vibrato shaped spacer plate - this is optional and only intended to prevent an impression from forming on the finish over time. Note that there are clearance holes in the top plate intended to give access to the screws with a standard sized screwdriver.
