For sale is a vintage Alvarez Model 5014 acoustic guitar, serial number 0371. It comes with a vintage style Chipboard case.
This is one of the early Japanese-built Alvarez instruments from the 1970s, featuring the classic small-bodied 000/OM-style design that made these guitars a favorite among players looking for vintage Martin-inspired tone without the vintage Martin price tag.
The guitar has a warm, balanced voice with excellent midrange presence, strong note separation, and the dry, mature character that only comes from decades of aging.
Condition
Please see photos for detailed condition. As expected from a guitar of this age, it shows normal cosmetic wear from decades of use, including minor dings, scratches, and finish wear. The tuners on the D and G strings rattle a bit if those strings are hit really hard.
