Body:
Select ash body with exposed knots and cracks, antiqued military green finish, matte finish with hand-crafted green pony skin mask glued to the soundboard, figured oak neck plate with knobs. The instrument features our variable resonance system, transforming it from a solid body to a semi-hollow body.
Like all our boutique guitars, it incorporates the multipick-up system which allows you to change pickups from the back of the instrument.
Neck:
Six-string neck with a symmetrical low profile made of maple and figured oak. The neck features a dual-action truss rod with adjustment access at the back of the headstock. Bone nut made by GB Liuteria. Fingerboard:
Figured oak fingerboard, compound with a 10/16-inch radius, brass dot markers, luminlay side dots (which glow in the dark), 2.3 mm brass frets, 22-fret, 25.5-inch scale.
Headstock:
Laminated headstock with ash top that matches the body, GB Liuteria logo engraved on an oak plate, gold-plated Wilkinson tuners with an angled installation for improved access.
Electronics:
High-quality CTS potentiometer circuitry made with Teflon-sleeved OFC and silver wire, shielded OFC and silver wire where required, circuitry designed with a star ground without a shielded compartment (to prevent smearing and ground loops).
3-position switch in Grigsby oak. Tad paper-in-oil capacitors, knobs made by GB Luthier to match the ash body and oak inlay.
Bridge:
Gold-plated Wilkinson 6-string bridge with compensated brass saddles. Pickups:
Pickup kit with figured oak top made by GB Liuteria, alnico 5 magnets, warm and smooth vintage blues rock sound.
