Vintage Marantz 2220 Stereo Receiver in Excellent Condition. This beautiful, vintage receiver has been cleaned and tested - all functions were tested are fully operational. The faceplate and glass are clean and have minimal marks, the woodgrain vinyl cabinet is in very nice condition as well, SEE PICS. All the pots, switches and jacks were serviced with DeOxit products, the meter, and dial lamps were upgraded with warm cool blue LED's, this unit had all the boards checked and found most all caps to be within the manufacturer’s specs, I recapped the power supply board and 2 transistor was bad on the amp board so I replace both. I retested and all sounds good, I adjusted the Bias to factory specs...  If I would have found anything that wasn't up to spec, I would have replaced it. I like to keep these vintage units as close to original as possible to keep that Marantz sound we all love, you know all us old timers Golden rule  (if it ain't broke don't fix it)  These receivers are built to last, and this unit will give you many more years of enjoyment and they delivers clear, sweet Marantz sound.
