These don’t turn up often. And in addition to being a rare bird with a deep cherry finish, this one comes from a particularly noteworthy period in Gibson’s illustrious history. The guitar itself is in beautiful overall condition with only signs of light use, zero buckle rash and the nitro cellulose lacquer shines like a new penny. There are a couple of small blemishes in the finish you’ll see in the photographs, but I can’t stress enough, she’s been very well taken care of. The frets show virtually no wear. The neck is gorgeous with a comfy profile and a dark rosewood fingerboard with pearl dots that have a warm vintage hue.

This limited run of SG Juniors originally came with a single P100 installed at the bridge, but this one has been upgraded to a slightly hotter wound Lollar pickup that growls for days.
